It's not just race, it's about tax cuts for the wealthiest few, those at the top of the food chain. I have a handful of friends that whine incessantly about Obama raising taxes in the time of an economic turndown. Yes, your taxes will go up if you make over $250,000 a year, and that won't start until 2011. Last I heard was the Republican chant that this was an Obama Bear market. It's the new style called "denial". Right, and the Holacaust never happened? I would hope that we would all pull together regardless of political preferences and work for the betterment of this country. We are in desparate need of unity to rise above our current national crisis. This hatred and negativity needs to go away. Good article Spartan.

What's interesting is the relief I feel. I had no idea how stressed I've been these past eight years. A wonderful calm has washed over me and many of my early morning coffee friends. I believe we the people of America now have intelligent leadership that will bring confidence to the world markets and will hopefully re-ignite respect for us as a nation. It the meantime, we cannot allow Bush to pardon Cheney and himself from the crimes they've committed. And the queen cried out, "Off with their heads."
