This one is shuddering in revulsion.

You are correct, it would be impossible to avoid such disgusting sources of moisture, which is why this one does not live among humans. We are secluded inside our craft. We will occasionally leave the craft but only after dark (your planet is much hotter than ours) and only in the areas you call "desert". This is, of course, while wearing protective gear. While this one has communication devices and sufficient nutrition for this mission, your planet does have its beauty, and this one ventures out occasionally for very short periods of time.

Please do not inquire where this one is currently located, as divulging such information would compromise this one's mission. The craft is disguised as well with a type of electromagnetic shield. This one is not expert in the construction or function of such a shield.

This one is not sure this line of questioning is fulfilling this one's mission. Has this one convinced the unit Tracy Faber that staying on Earth is best?

This one tends to remain in dry areas and wears a protective suit. This is a frightening assignment, but this one is honored to attempt such an important task.

The unit Tracy Fabre is definitely correct in her assessment of the horrors of moisture collection.

This one must have been so disturbed at the mere mention of moisture that this one omitted the word from the device's name. Many apologies to the creature of such a useful device. One human would not make a huge difference in the moisture level of Mars, but where one human goes, many follow. The cumulative effect could be enough to sway the dry, dusty perfection of Mars to a moister, disturbing environment.

Any dry climate on Earth is still many times moister than Mars. Moisture on Earth in those dry climates go into the atmosphere, obviously. There remains moisture in the atmosphere, but such does not manage to reach the ground in those dry climates you speak of.

However, this one is not an expert on Earth's climate. This one has a general knowledge; enough to be conversant but this one specializes in attempting to convince humans to remain on the planet that spawned them.

This one is curious. Does the unit Tracy Fabre know of such a device as a Disgusting Collection Center®? Such a device might actually be useful on Mars. This one would be delighted to own such a device.

This one is weak with horror at the thought. This one's purpose on Earth is to convince humans to stay on their own moist planet and not to disturb the dry, dusty perfection that is Mars. If this one thought the unit Debbie W was truly serious, this one would be forced to do admit defeat and retreat to Mars in shame.

This one would hope so. Of course, not being raised as a human, this one may lack certain commonly known pieces of information that are handed down from human to human, yet are not spoken of openly. We have received your broadcasts in several wavelengths, as well as studied via the Internet and online fulltext books. However, this one has not read every single book available, as to do so would require a huge amount of time. This would leave no time to attempt to convince humans to stay on their own planet. This one has specialized in English for the same reason.

There does seem to be some evidence of Gorgonian influence on Earth, however early humans viewed Gorgon as frightening (yet warding off evil spirits), when the Gorgon's purpose was to aid fledgling societies. Humans were not evolved enough to accept Gorgon's word, but the Martian civilization, being more intellectually advanced, embraced the word of Gorgon.

This was quoted in a comment in reference to the unit Ed Williams' post regarding the effects of his actions when piloting a motorized land vehicle. Actually, this unit made an error. [Forgive me, Gorgon] It should have said, "Moist emotions like impatience and anger are always rewarded in unpleasant ways." Many apologies for the misquote of our most sacred book. In an effort to translate from Martian into human, we left off the section on moistness (since it seemed like this one had been beleaguring the point lately) and the verb "is" should have been "are".

Nevertheless, passages from Gorgon 2 generally relate to emotions formed by individual units and their effects. Most of the quotes from the Book of Gorgon have to do with what a human might call "good advice." Do you not feel it is good advice to avoid behavior based solely on impatience and/or anger? It seemed to be a universal truism, and therefore sharable with the general human populace.

This one is pleased you are showing an interest in the works of Gorgon.

Humans do possess an inherently jovial nature, which does not require higher brain function. However, this one feels the unit Ed Williams is at least average among Humans, if not slightly above. If you attempt to follow the teachings of Gorgon, one may find one's life enjoyable without the adversity.

This one recognizes that Humans require a high level of moisture to survive (although in death, Humans do achieve a more Martian state of dryness). This is why we prefer you Humans stay on your own moist planet and not pollute our properly dry, dusty world with your perverse moisture.

This one detects a hint of sarcasm as well as a healthy amount of humor in your reply. This one is pleasantly entertained. We humbly accept your appraisal of our command of English. This one has listened to many hours of Human broadcast as well as that found by tapping into your Internet. The books rendered into electronic media were most helpful (and quite contrary to much of the verbally rendered broadcasts). This is one familiar enough with Pig Latin to verbalize it, but this one is also aware that Pig Latin is a game employed by juvenile units and some particularly playful adult units.

Ebonics is, in the opinion of this unit, a perversion of English. This one is appalled at the (albeit short-lived) movement to teach juvenile units in an inferior form of the language, thereby rendering those juvenile units unable to verbalize properly.

Martians are inherently more intelligent than Humans, however, this unit feels Humans do possess enough intelligence to articulate their own native language properly. To expect failure is to guarantee failure. [Gorgon 1:4]

This one is a relatively insignificant example of a typical Martian. While this one attempts to follow the way of Gorgon, this one is not a shining example. This one's intelligence is merely average among Martians, similar to what we presume is your placement among humans. Is this not so?
