i know exactly how you feel. I lost my grandfather (my only grandfather, my other one passed away before I was born) about a year and a half ago. So I know what it's like. There are things I regret about my time with him, but you can't focus on those. You'll just keep being sad, and keep being sorry. Focus on the good times and all the time you did stay with him. For me it's hard, because we share a birthday (I was born on his 69th) so when my birhtday rolls around it will always be a reminder of him.

But don't let the memory of him keep you from enjoying things. Go do something the two of you enjoyed, and remember the good times, don't linger on the bad.

And for people who have trouble spelling things get even more complicated (I spelled people as peaple well into high school and don't get me going on there/their/they're) but I t hink I have to disagree that English is an extremely hard language to learn. Spoken English is not nearly as difficult as written English. Now I am a native speaker of American English, but I know people who are not, and they have told me that the written language was much harder to grasp than the spoken.

I don't think its b*tchy. That's about the only thing I know him for (being born in the 80's and a child when all that was happening). I also feel that his death has compeltely overhsadowed the death of Farrah Fawcett, who's fight with cancer is being completely forgotten.

well my boss took the letter from social security as proof that the card is coming so i think i'll be ok, which is really nice

I completly agree, what has this world come to if people hate the way the look so much? I'm me, you're you, we're never gonna look the same, so get overyourself and go do something fun.

I have actually told people I know (probably in not the nicest terms) "you're not ugly, you're fine and I'm not going to let you wallow in self guilt" - sometimes there is stronger language invovled.

But I do agree. We should not be so upset with out bodies that we hate the way they look, because you are right, hating your body is an indirect form of hating yourself, and shouldn't everyone be comfortable in their own skin?

it is, a bit. I'm more frustrated by the fact that my liscence and birth certificate aren't enough anymore, most people don't keep things like passports and social security cards in thier pockets (at least from my experience)

Those are nice photographs. I used to visit Salem a lot when I was younger. My dad used to know Lauri Cabot the official witch of Salem and we used to go visit her shop.

I also agree, with you, that tree is creepy. And all that can be very scary when you're 8 years old (and it's Halloween to boot!).

Beleive it or not, I have manged to get rid of a lot fo the junk (going from 51,000 words to around 43,000 in the process). I'm more looking to actually finish the book at this point, and worry about publishing later. I just want the thing done! At this point publishing isn't even on the horizon.

And I've heard of NaNoEdMo, I just got so swamped with school work (how I managed college and NaNoWriMo I'll never know) that I didn't get a chance to really sit down and edit my novel during the event.
