On education I agree that he has no real power to do anything and it's not his fault, it's the local school boards that have screwed that up and throwing more money at that won't do diddly

So you really expect less rationing on care because the government will be involved? Are you feeling ok?

Since this healthcare bill won't start for 4 years, I guess everyone will need to just hang on until then for this "less rationing" of care? However they will start making you pay up front...

So when the 160+ new agencies are implimented 4 years from now there won't be any rationing of care?

You do not know, nor do I, the full extent of everything thats in this bill and how it will affect healthcare

So, of the 30 million who do not have heath insurance (thought it was 46-50) break those numbers down and eliminate those who choose not to buy heath insurance and I think after wrangling over the numbers it would come out to about 10-15 million who are chronically un-insurable.

Think we could have set up something far les expensive and better for those people than this mess?

It's sad to think someone must wake up this morning knowing they have no place else to go for help, unfortunately many of those people made the wrong choices, many didn't too and helping those people should be done but not with this.

Israel has a right to exist and protect itself....the Palistinians were offered everything and they walked away...Arafat's widow is very rich now...when Israel kids start wrapping themselves in explosives and killing innocent people and getting their families paid talk to me about it...

none of you know all thats in this 2,700 pages of crap, yet your so quick to think you do

Insurance companies do it now you say, well will it be better when the government does?

The government is supposed to be the safety net when that happens with insurance companies....so where will you go then? To Canada?

Rationed care will happen.

the N.Y Times had an 8 page story about end of life costs....500 million to be cut from medicare....excatly whats that going to do to the care of the elderly?

Heather, we are not in a predicament...

but imagine this, a huge volcano erupts tomorrow...as in the past....all the laws in the world won't stop what that impact will be on the planet and that impact will be seen quickly.....i've yet to see anything even close to that now
