its a tough one cuz they can keep milking their beliefs. im a christian but understand others are not seeing things from the same perspective and theres no way all of those people are really that sensitive.

I hate networking for career purposes. i really really hate it. I feel like Im asking for a favor and dont care about the person-and many times thats the truth. I am bad at relationships (especially new ones) and am really awkward. I would pay someone big money to teach me how to network or do it for me because thats the only way ill ever learn or get a job in a nice company where i live

this article was a bit long for online so i didnt read at all (I value my time and must spend it wisely ha) but it is very true. I am only twenty three and have no children and am not married but have chosen to focus on making money and paying off my student loans. I have a fear of becoming a wife and mother because I see all the women around me so selflessly giving of their time and calling it a treat when they get an hour away from screaming kids- im telling you now, 1 hr away from screaming rugrats is not enough time for anyone-especially me. and guilt is so common when they cant admit this truth. Why do women have to give up themselves for others just because that is the cultural standard?

good, It sounds like you did the right thing. if he told you all that and treated you one way one week then treated you the exact opposite hes a classic jerk and you prob do feel way better good for you.

maybe it has created more problems thn it can handle, but such is the human race. we are prob creating newer bigger problems now with the new stuff we are inventing and dont even know it, eating less is not the answer, unless you need to for obesity's sake. neither is buying organic bc there will always be people out there (the majority) that doesnt care or just wants to save money or both. everyone cannot afford to eat perfectly pure meals- at least not enough to make a difference. we are prob gonna have to leve it in the hands of our trusted scientists and doctors to create a solution that will make different problems later on. Its kinda like the energy crisis or global warming-a big deal in teh long run, but not much we can do about it with the mess we've already created.

I have heard this before...good thing I dont care how my bread is because I would never remember to check and if I did I would never remember the days. I dont have any helpful tips but I do know if you put foundation under your eyeshadow then the eyeshadow will last much longer and if you eat protein with every meal and snack your blood sugar will stabilize letting you know`when youre truly hungry and not overeat.

i agree and yet dont agree. Halloween has gotten a bad rap, I personally dont see a problem with celebrating it-as in the traditional dressing up for candy-even though it is originally a pagan holiday. i dont think we need to celebrate the dead though, thats what funerals are for-if the dead then why not animals? possessions? and other things that cant acknowledge being honored. a lot of other holidays are 'pagan' originally but Christians still celebrate them and make it "christian" in a lot of ways.

of course a bad diet can indicate a lack of discipline, an ignorance of nutrition, and less nutritional foods can be cheaper, and people in a lower socio economical have a greater risk of finding themselves in situations appealing to criminal activities. its not that eating candy will make you want to rob a bank, but certain people that engage in certain behaviors engage in similar others as well.

a degree is not something anyone can just get if they have the money. they have to be disciplined and determined-at least to an extent depending on what college one attends. college may show you picked up a trade or skill, learned some new stuff, and used your brain a lot, but it really just shows employers youve jumped through the hoops, done the work, can do the work, and are responsible and dependable at least to an extent. its not whats in the papers and tests that are as important as showing you can write them and meet deadlines and dedicate yourself to a higher level of work than the average person. some people who are very smart (intellectual) cant make it through college because of those very things

actually I work in the unemployment office/career center for my state and things are improving slowly but hopefully surely. however, I dont know how much it has to do with obama. but anything that good happens will be placed on obamas administration and a lot of whats not will be placed on bush's still. not that I like one more than the other but thats the way it seems to be going lately.
