My neighborhood pool!  I hide in the corner away from the little kids.  Every hour, they have adult swim.  I bring my book to the pool and read it until the kids come back.  Upon their return, I find my spot and read, read, read!

I am 31-years-old and I still say my prayers.  Now I lay me, down to sleep I pray the Lord, my soul to keep.  Guide me safely, through the night, and wake me with, the morning light.  Amen."  (My parents took out the dying part.)  This prayer gives me comfort and I can't wait to share it if we are blessed with a child someday.

I live in Austin, TX and it is in the hundred's.  It is a dry heat though, so I don't mind.  I used to live in Iowa City.  Nothing is worse than the humidity in Iowa City.  I don't mind being hot.  I DO mind being hot and wet!!
