The myth of these children running "rampant" is silly, and the myth that they're in danger is too.
But that's why I'm the mom to my kids and others are the moms to theirs. Sadly, if more moms were like me and those like me, more kids would be out there playing, increasing even further their odds of safety, security, education, common sense, knowledge, experience, and learning. But as long as people chain up their children, those are the ones that suffer.
It is what it is.
