Reporters from Australia and now New York are picking up on a line of evidence and interviews that suggests Ishmael's years as a child soldier may have been more like several months, with little to no fighting, if even that much. Not hard to understand, just dense and quite boring and monotone, even when describing events intended to horrify a Western audience.
