This is great advice, thanks for explaining when to call for a doctor, I must admit my first instinct would be to call a doctor straight away - but that appears a bit irrational and trying to bring the temperature down first makes better sense.

Thanks for the explanation. I hadn't realized that these problems are mainly cosmetic, I expected for there to be more problems associated. Can chest deformities be genetic?

I was very clingy to my mum apparently when I was younger, but I have an extremely healthy relationship with her now and it has not affected my personal development, I think we all worry too much.

This is incredible. I will be much more cautious in the future about the products that I buy. I have to agree with Janna the key is to keep everything as natural as possible.

This is great to see such positive action. In circumstances such as these crimes of omission are as bad as the actual acts - it's a responsibility to not ignore atrocities and to do what you can to affect positive change.

This is a great idea - I did something similar when I was a child - sending letters to other children around the world as part of a pen friend scheme - a great way of learning about other cultures.

I think that this is great advice especially about being a good role. You need to lead by example kids look to you for guidance and in helping to form their ideas about how the world works.

This very interesting and a completely different method than I have heard of before. I think that it is important to instill basic principles within your child from the very beginning otherwise you are setting yourself up for a fall later in their lives.

I know its not a new book but I would definitely recommend Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold! I admit I am an avid fan of true crime novels but this no-fiction book really grabbed my imagination, as did Almost Moon by the same author. Just a warning you need to be open minded when reading these books.
