My mom works at a hotel from 8-5 and then 6-9 at a laboratory every day. I don't know how she does it!

I thought this movie was pretty good as well. I wasn't expecting much since it got such horrible reviews and since good horror movies (sans extreme blood and gore) are few and far between these days. But, this one was pretty entertaining.

Basically, you use a calorie shifting calculator (the one I use is at: http://losefat-online.com/calshift.htm) and input your information. Then it will tell you exactly how many calories to eat every day. By switching up your calorie intake, you are fooling your body into burning fat. Here is an excerpt I took from http://iamwoman.yuku.com/topic/1858 which explains calorie shifting pretty well:

Calorie Shifting or the zig zag method is on of the best ways to lose fat. Any time you cut your calories for a long period of time your body will adjust. When your body adjusts you hit a plateau and stop losing weight. Calorie shifting allows you to fool your body and keep it out of starvation mode. You must have a deficit to lose fat, but what you don't want is a large deficit for a long period of time. The way to fool your body's starvation response is to avoid prolonged calorie deficits. Lowering you caloric intake below maintenance for a day or two then raising it to maintenance or above for a day or two, will keep your body from decreasing your metabolic rate. Remember the sum total for the week must be below your maintenance needs in order to lose the weight.

Here is an example:

Low calorie days (15-20% below TDEE): 1920 calories -3 days

High calorie days (maintenance level): 2400 calories - 1 day


They also have another method on their site which involves shifting your caloric intake during the day instead. They even suggest that you may want to alternate between the two methods for even better results. I myself have not used this method. If you Google "calorie shifting" you can get a lot of information and resources to help you.

I have been very successful in my weight loss by using calorie shifting and have recommended it to many people who have achieved similar results. If you decide to try this, please drop by again to let me know how it goes for you. Oh and remember to recalculate your calories every time you lose some weight in order to keep losing!

No actually, I didn't :( My hours were cut back at work and I really can't take on any extra expenses for the time being. It is pretty costly after all. From reviews I've read online, people seem to have a lot of success with it.

I have been dieting however, I've been doing calorie shifting and I have lost a lot of weight. I recomend it to anyone looking to drop some pounds, it really works!
