I used to have two feedersat each corner of the place I used to live...I would stand in the middle of there flight path and they would zoom past me within a foot or so of my head. They sound like little jets as they scream past. Occasionaly they would come to a stop at eye level, twitter at me and then speed off....

Can you tell I love hummers?LOL

My roomie and I watch Idol.....I think Kris was the best tonight with Gokey right behind. I think he is the most versatile of all the contestants so far...Allison was okay but I thought she was a little young for the song. I feel she is on her way win or not.
Mat is a tough one for me..he has a good voice but I think his control is a little suspect. He hit some pretty bad notes tonight...but he sang a really difficult song.

Having my Ruby girl cattle dog has been such a wonderful experience. I don't know if just loving her will ever be enough to repay her for her goofy antics when I was down while caring for best friend/ex wife during her very long and terminal illness. She is always ready todo whatever I do...

I can only imagine how you feel...

I was driving down Highway 1 on the coast of California just south of Fort Bragg and saw lots of people pulled over to the side....and of course curiosity took me over!!!

Elephant seals basking.......there where hundreds!!!

You know Jean, I have been thinking about that since I wrote it. I am beginning to think along the lines you stated in your comment.

I am beginning to feel that my belief is a hopeful belief and as such...romantic love and the like have different add-ons which color that love with whatever plus or minus our psyche inserts.

The purest love might just be the love we feel for someone without the distractions which can be colored by our baser emotions perhaps.....
