great article, targeting is way more important than generating traffic. You really do have to zero in on what people are alreayd looking for and give them what they want to make traffic meaningful.

Very intresting, this approach does work when done properly. The downside is that eventually the offers do run out and you have to learn how to market yourself to sponsor people to make doing it worth your while.

I do not agree with you that competition is fierce, but I can understand the use of the word for marketing purposes.

Truth is, competition doesn't exist if you play the game in a creative plane. You got those who scramble for other peoples positions on google, when they fail to see the countless opportunities to rank in keywords and top positions that is reserved for you to take advantage of.

Competition online is over rated, and I highly recommend the book Science of getting rich.

I use squidoo, not a big fan, but I will add you to the friend mix. I perfer gather and places where people actually are more likely to respond.

I suppose times are tough because enough people believe it is.

It's hardly tough for me as a online network marketer, but I can symphatise (just a little) for the guy who got laid off from the falling auto plants.

I wouldn't say SEO is complex. It depends on what level you do it. Like if your a computer geek and like intricate code, to average people and can seem daunting. But doing basic SEO is as simple as learning how to count money for the first time. You screw up a few times before you learn how easy it can be

It actually takes REAL people skills to do business properly on these social networking sites.

It also takes volume and leverage. There are tools out there that make it easier to add friends on youtube, but can be damaging if you are spamming and abusing the tool.

It takes some degree of social skills to communicare with people offline, and those same skills apply online

I do blogging mostly for personal reasons and to share my insights about my adventures as a network marketer. I also like sharing my experiences with others so they can learn something from it as well.

Blogging DEFINITLY is not a way to make money from the get-go. Takes time to build and grow a blog and you won't be making money from it for weeks (at LEAST).

When you do it with passion, the traffic flows more and abundently without any additional marketing efforts...very strange

intresting take on the the coaching idea.

I stopped caring to call myself a while back and because of that, I've seen better success and my goals have been much clearer without worrying about how someone percieves me as coaching material.

People now ask me for advice and tips because of the actions I take..basically, I lead by example and I, like you, don't like to pretent like I know about a subject If I havn't actually lived or expereinced it myself.

I don't feel you have to be a million dollar earner though to view oneself as a coach. If you found something that works for you because you took the initiative to actually implement, you qualify on some level.
