Nina, thank you for comment, and I think you so right! My mother used to say, that one is only as old, as you feel! So every birthday that comes along, I warp into Mona, 4 years, who can't wait to get presents. ;O)

I do enjoy life, Faith, and yes that is the way to go, I think.
And Mariana, I think you're rigth about the health issue, and I plan to die young in spirit, and I will rock the old folk home, when I go there... I hope! ;O) In some odd 50 year or so!!!

Losing 70 pounds is amazing, but I'm sorry I can't get over the fact that you had to go to work after six weeks. My god, are we spoiled here in Denmark, where we have between 7-11 month + 6 weeks vacation. I have never had maternity leave, but six weeks doesn't seem a lot. No wonder it has taken you time to loose weigth, with work and new baby, there hasn't been much time for dealing with proper nutrition and exercise. Good luck with your goal, you're gonna make! I'm sure!

In Denmark we celebrate on the 24th of december. We have a great meal, not turkey, but duck and a pork roast with a miliion side dishes. And for desert a rice pudding (sort of) called Ris a la mande. Meaning rice with almonds. Delicious! Then we dance around the christmas three singing carols, and finally we exchange presents. All in one evening.
