Sure was, trying to get ahead of the game. With everything that has happened, I was thinking of not doing anything this year (including no tree), but I know both Mom and Rob wouldn't want that.

I had to work, but I managed to leave only 15 minutes later than I planned instead of 2 hrs later like the rest of the week. Just getting ready to feed the dog and make dinner, then to bed early so I can do it again tomorrow.

Elsie I totally agree. I think Rob definitely missed the "fun years". And I don't begrudge him anything. I know he would not have been happy down the road he was headed.

I think you hit the nail on the head Connie. It's funny how some people have 'forgotten' what Rob went through in his younger years.

Do things really get deleted? That's terrible, I'd hoped that Rob's writing on Gather would be a permanent memorial.

Rob had a lot of successes, including his celebrity on Gather. Unfortunately, he wasn't always good translating that into self-esteem.

I didn't realize he hadn't talked about it on Gather. It was something he was really proud of. I have no idea where he would be today if the radio station hadn't changed owners/format.

I'm glad that Rob was able to be there for you. Being a good friend was one of the most important things to Rob in his life.

Rob was obsessed with Gather, I used to tease him about it because in the begining I had to beg him to join. Thanks for thinking of him.

Thank you for the tribute. I think the radio show funeral would be very appropriate, especially considering how much Rob valued his own radio career.

I've felt sick for two days. It took me half way through yesterday to stop shaking. I cry randomly throughout the day. (The latter is something that has been going on for the past two weeks now there is just a second reason.)
