I had the displeasure of reading one of his books, which I unfortunately read along with ones by Ann Coulter and Al Franken. The poor rhetoric and faulty arguments (in all three) were enough to make me want to hit my head against a wall.

I don't have a driveway or roof of my own to paint white...and my car is red and 14 years old. I guess I can't join the nutjobs in saving the earth until someone gives me a job to pay for the expenses of having earth-saving devices and such.

I've hoping Gather would do something about this problem for years. I've been gone for more than a year and it's worse than when I left. Amazing that people don't think that the copyright laws or Gather terms of service apply specifically to them.

I hope some day they'll take up your ideas to fix the problems. Or they could make it easy and hire a few interns to patrol the content for such offenses.

I never got attacked. I just started flagging posts that were infringing on copyrights. But from the looks of the ratings on this, I angered a few people who like stealing other people's work.

Because "hate" is too strong a word (and I'm too tired to really think of the proper words to express my extreme dislike of him). I think he's a blowhard just like all the far left and right "pundits" that I don't find amusing.

I may dislike Moore with a passion, but I do agree that we need better universal healthcare--it was far too expensive even when I was working. But the gov't needs to take out some of the bureaucratic BS from the process to make it work, otherwise it'll be more painful to get a routine check-up than to have a root canal.

Try writing your poetry and saving it as a jpg, then insert it into a post a picture. It's a pain, but it should work. Probably easier if you could insert a pdf into a post, but I don't think this site has the ability.

The reason English has so many grammar rules is to give people like me a career in editing and teaching grammar.

My Chinese still isn't very good. I haven't had any formal classes. And now that I'm living in the US, it's more difficult to study. But I'm still determined to make progress.

Good luck studying English--it's not an easy language either.

It's nice that people can ignore the law and take money away from news media so that they can earn a few pennies instead of taking a few extra minutes to do their own work.

For your information I know plenty about Chinese. Maybe if you knew more about the language and me, you would actually make an intelligent argument.

Now go read your copyright law.

Very cool. I've never gone diving, so I have no idea how you'd take a decent photo underwater (besides not using my camera--I think it'd break). Definitely some impressive color down there.

I'd think about buying one of those cars if the companies actually made something decent.

And it wasn't just Obama's decision. Bush was ready to throw money at the problem too, just like he did for the financial institutions he helped fail. The government should've just let them all fail.
