More importantly, it's gaining a lot more traction in businesses these days - meaning it's not this weird geek software anymore, but that more and more people will be impressed when you use it. It's also at the point where it has plenty of import/export filters, so it's easy to keep collaborating with your friends and co-workers who are still stuck with MS software.
