Sorry, but "virtue is it's own reward". If we play by the rules because we were hoping to be noticed and rewarded, then we did it for the wrong reasons. Plus, our responsible behavior does not give us the right to condemn people who were foolish. England, from where we get much of our legal system, once had a whole process for demonizing those foolish or unlucky at finances: it was called "debtors prison", and people were jailed or enslaved or deported simply because they were poor, or financially foolish, or even just overly optimistic about their business acumen. Americans removed most of the penalties for simple debt in the early 1830s, whereas England kept it almost until 1870. For most of these people, we are not talking about bank officers with sworn fiduciary responsibility and criminal greed. So it does us no good, in the long run, to moralize about the poor saps, whether overreaching or just unlucky, as though it were somehow immoral to get caught on the wrong side of the curve. Let's be decent to others, let people off the hook, and move on. To do otherwise is to invite such harsh judgment of our own lives, where most of us would certainly be found guilty in one way or another.

I've read a few, and we've put most of them on Storycasting.com, so fans can pick the cast for the movie "in their mind". Current favorite for Stephanie Plum is Sandra Bullock (8 casts out of 18 have her in the role).

We have 23 SK works on Storycasting, but only 2 of them have ever had a "fantasy cast" posted. Very strange.

If you've read this, you might want to know about our "fantasy casting" website that lets you put movie stars in the roles - storycasting.com. It has pictures and everything, and the favorites rise up to become the Top Cast. Great fun!

GRRM fans have found Storycasting (www.storycasting.com) and posted 13 unique "fantasy casts" using current film and TV stars. Activity is heating up because Martin has received a green light from HBO for a pilot. If you have casting ideas, HBO is looking for fan input - maybe you'll help pick the star!

A Feast for Crows is on Storycasting.com, where many Ice and Fire fans have come to post their "fantasy cast". All of the activity is on A Game of Thrones right now, because of the recent HBO green-light for a pilot, but the other books in the series will eventually get their appropriate attention. If Gather readers have casting ideas for the series, HBO is looking for input, and our site is one of the sources for fan input. Almost all of the GRRM works are on the site as well, available for casting.

Storycasting.com - the definitive website for creating and posting a "fantasy cast" - has logged 21 posted casts for "One For The Money". So who's in the Top Cast? Sandra Bullock gets the nod, for 41% of the casts. Queen Latifah gets Lula, with 69%, and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson takes Ranger with 67%. But there are lots of other opinions - go take a look, maybe post your own cast. Yeah, it's fun.
