try A Maiden's Grave, it is an excellent starter.

Yes normally he does political/spy thrillers, but this is one of his other types and it is much better than the thrillers, which I do not like. He also has a romance one called The Christmas Train.

Dean Koontz is probably closer to Stephen King's style, but I like Patterson's books more.

Love Black Echo, but I am a huge Connelly fan. Have not ead the Coben title, but I like Coben too. My resolution was simply to read more this year, I am such a nerd though as I have read soooo many books already!

This is the only book by him that I have read so far, Paranoia will be next. So I guess I don't know about his books all being about corporate life, but yeah it would get old after a while.

Love the comment Paul. I'm pretty sure that it is just Disneyland, but that is a really good idea, it would be amusing if anything, if the author did that.

I have read #2 and really liked it. I want to read #4 as I really love Connelly. I own #5 but have not gotten to reading it yet. Great list of books. My wife likes Sparks so she has probably read #1.
