As I don't have time to read every reply, I'm not sure if the following has been discussed yet, so please bear with me.

I just received an email this week from Dr. Steven Greer of The Disclosure Project (http://www.disclosureproject.org) in which he states that disclosure in imminent - before the end of the year. He says the president, who has already alotted a 2-hour time slot on television is expected to reveal that extraterrestrials are already on earth and have been for some time. He is expected to say that "most" of the extraterrestrials with whom the government has been in contact are friendly. There is much more to this, so go to the site to learn more.
A few other prominent folks in the UFO field are basically saying the same thing, so we shall see. I don't think people will panic. Actually, I think people will be downright angry that they have been lied to for so long and they'll have many, many questions that will demand answers.

John, what a gorgeous dog! And yes, of course I believe it's Rodeo. Just like human spirits who return to give a message to a loved one, animals can also return. The next time you hear that familiar scratch at the door, open the door and invite him in! After that, you'll probably feel his presence around you even more often.

Also John, I just love this story. Could I use it in an upcoming issue of Glimpses of the Paranormal? I put out this newsletter once a month. Boy, there are really some strong feelings expressed here. All I can do, like Wilhelmine, is offer up my own experience and you can take from it what you like - or you can call it "bullsh*t" as Devin said. I don't care either way. All I know is what I experienced and no one can tell me it didn't happen.

In 1998, I was very ill and in a coma for three days. While family was at my hospital bedside, I found myself standing on a high cliff. Looking out from it, I saw what appeared to be a huge ball of energy radiating in every direction. (No there was no tunnel or white light.)

Then I heard a deep male voice boom out from that energy. He/It was angry at the people of the world over the destruction that has been done to this planet. I literally shook with fear. Then I realized that Jesus was standing just behind my right shoulder and I turned toward Him. He told me not to be afraid, that God was not just angry with me, but with everyone on Earth.

Jesus then told me I would have to go back but before I did, He was going to put me through a life review. Then like a panoramic screen, my life played out before us. Jesus never said a word but just watched as I reacted to what I saw - how I had made some people so happy and others so sad by things I said or did.

Jesus and I walked together and talked for a bit but unfortunately, I don't remember much of that. What I do recall are His final words to me. "The most important lesson you can learn in life is unconditional love." He explained that He meant we must love others despite what they say or do, what nationality they are, color, creed, station in life, etc., because we are all on our chosen path and serve a specific purpose in life.

After this, I found myself in the hospital bed, quite disappointed. I wanted to stay with Him always. However, I reminded myself that He said my work was not done here and people still needed me.

I must preface this to say I have always, as far back as I can remember, believed in and loved Jesus. I do honestly feel that our own personal beliefs have everything to do with what we experience when we cross over. In other words, if you believe in Buddha, that's likely who you'll see and so on. Also, if you believe in nothing, you just might get that too - and for that, I would feel very sorry for you.

Good article Carol. I met a police officer and his canine companion when I worked as a journalist. Got a great photo of them and won an award in photography from the police department that year. Now I have a little Shi Tzu whose only talent is waking me up by kissing my face! I love it!

Good article. I like that you added the part about energy taking on different forms. As to why they where clothes, you are right about residuals. They carry on doing what they've always done, often not even realizing that they've passed over. And you are also right about spirits showing themselves in an acceptable way. I wrote a story about one man who lost his beloved daughter when she was in her early 20s. When he saw her, she was a little girl again - daddy's little girl! He was so thrilled.
As to orbs, there is a lot of debate as to whether they are authentic spirit entities. We know that rain, dust or other particles can look like orbs. However, I recently captured one at a friend's home. I took many shots inside the house, but this was the only one that showed a good-sized orb and it was right where a little girl spirit was spotted on the top of the staircase!

Gretchen: Kudos to you for realizing your limits. Too often we push ourselves until we literally and physically burn out. I know. I did that during my working years as a journalist and since 1996 have been paying for it every day with a body that is no longer able to keep up with even the mildest of chores. I really have to pace myself to get anything accomplished. My mind wants to go ahead full steam, buy my body simply refuses.

I'm glad to see that you have the good sense to make your decision now, instead of waiting until it's too late!

Hi Billie: Don't be alarmed when your little one sees and/or talks about seeing a ghost. Just explain to her that it is a natural thing - that many children have these types of experiences. Explain to her that it is simply a loved one coming back to watch over her and she doesn't need to be afraid.

I have written and published a little children's book entitled Talking To My Angel specifically for little ones who may be going through this type of thing. Hi Kay: I find that funny, because one of my brothers was the same way. We shared a big home at one time that had a couple of resident spirits but he did not believe me. However, one night he saw and actually spoke with one of them. When he told me about it, he said "Don't ever tell anyone or I will deny it!"
I'm glad your mom appeared to your husband as it has now opened up his mind about this sort of thing.

Karen: Those who have passed over often come to visit in dreams. It is a much more gentle approach than just appearing at your bedside. Barb wanted to let you know that she still existed and was fine and you're right - that really is a wonderful gift!

I have had similar experiences with both of my parents. I always dream of meeting my (adopted) mother in the same flower-filled field and we always sit under the same tree to talk. As for my (adopted) father, we did not get along all that well in life. However, he came in a dream with a huge smile on his face with open arms. He apologized for the way he treated me and told me he loved me. All of the hard feelings I had to that point simply melted away.

Deb: Always follow those "feeling" and you'll be just fine!
