I think Im going to be alone on this one, but Ill be honest...

On some levels I wouldnt really care if he slept with someone else...in my head sex is just sex until its not just sex if that makes sense.

BUT I would probably still be mad....it just depends.

Im not going to throw away 12 years over sex...

From the Hebrew name ????????? (Yehudit) meaning "woman from Judea", Judea being an ancient region in Israel. In the Old Testament Judith was one of the wives of Esau. This was also the name of the main character of the apocryphal Book of Judith who kills Holofernes, an invading Assyrian commander, by beheading him in his sleep. As an English name, though there are a handful of early examples during the Middle Ages, it did not become common until after the Protestant Reformation.

All of our money goes together and we pay what needs paid..if one of us wants to spend more than 25 dollars on something, we talk it over first.

I agree it is sad...but it is just another reminder of what our country...world...has come to.

Sadly enough I in ways understand the lack of response by people. I live in a not so nice area. Lots of drugs, theft, violence. This is a place where people are about survival on basic levels...the unspoken rule around here is you keep your head down and your eyes diverted if you want to protect your own. Im not saying it is right or that I believe in that, but it is just a way of life in many areas.

Im a smoker myself, but I completely agree with you. I try and be respectful around people I know do not smoke, let alone someone with allergies to it. That is just plain respect in my eyes.

I watch all of those shows on TV Land as well...I am a fan of Michael Landon's work and believe he was a good man. I think he understood that entertainment could be done in a positive way.

Sometimes they did tackle subjects that were a little dark on little house, but it was done in a respectable manner. I can remember an episode about child abuse...also one about child molestation and rape resulting in pregnancy...and I believe drug abuse as well as drinking were addressed, but as I said I always felt it was handled with a conscious.

I watch TV Land almost exclusively...not only do I like and miss many of the programs they show...I do find it refreshing to not have to hear/see all the bad language, violence, and sexual undertones and sometimes down right overt sexual content.

I am not even a person that gets offended about that stuff per se, but at the same time more often than not I will choose something that is cleaner.

Turn them in! The most that could happen if you do is you end up being wrong and possibly having the parent hate you, but hey you know better that then do nothing and abuse really be taking place.

I believe the benefits outweigh the risk.

I dont find it odd at all myself really. It only sounds un-American to some because people still think that the white man was the first here and that they define America. That isnt true of course...we arent called a melting pot for no reason. I think its about time we had someone in there that reflects our country's diversity. We cant all be John Smith or whatever other boring hum drum name you want to come up with.
