Thanks for the advice!! The only plant up to this point that has survived living inside is a bamboo plant that I got at Target. It was a foot tall when I bought it (yes, I measured it) and it is almost 3 feet now. Since you guys were so helpful I have another question. I planted bulbs in the spring that can't do winter. My first thought was to just leave them and see what happened. . . But now with my new found enthusiasm for keeping my plants alive I gave in and dug them up. I had planted around 12 bulbs and they must have gone into heat because there are ALOT of "bulbettes". I tapped off the excess dirt and put them in the basement to absorb the energy from the foliage. Some of the baby bulbs had green growth already, so I'm ok with those, but what do I do with the more immature babies? Do I separate them from the parents, and what about the ones that separated themselves? They are really small! Oh, and no I have no idea what kind of flower they are, I know they are not glads. They are white flowers with a deep red center. They are sort of star shaped with 5 points.

I have determined that they are Jap beetles. I got the bag thing that you hang and it attracts them natturally. I think it has hepled. They have chowed anything that looks like a daisy, dragonshead, and some roses, the only thing they havent touched alot is the mallow, impatients, lillies, bleeding heart, oh and my shade garden. I've heard that going out and picking the beetles works, what is the best time to do that?

I can't my 3 dogs to help me. You'd think with the amount of time they spend in the gardens, laying on plants, digging them up, and munching on them the least they could do is help me weed. Ha ha ha!! I finally went last week and bought 2 yrds of mulch, hopefully there will be very little weeding the rest of the summer!

I always thought that white was loyality...althought I guess it isn't that far off from your list. I love roses and I'm glad to see someone else is interested in them.

I like Rosie, I support her 100%, but I don't think she is right for a show like the view. She needs to be the host like on her old show. She has a very strong personality and doesn't play well with others. I think what she said about Trump was funny, VERY funny. And his comments sounded really defensive, like he was in 7th grade. This is one of those stories that is going to get old quickly.

Emily Deschanel is really starting to grow on me! For those who don't know who she is, she is Bones. I also want to add Michelle Rodriguez. And Leigh I agree with Madonna. She is just amazying!!!

Ok, so the lesson here is that Florida can't get anything right! Must have something to do with the Bush family. But really, I am a democrat...except when it comes to this. I am for the death penalty. I think all states that impose the death penalty should learn from Texas. It is very expensive to keep a prisioner on death row....tens of thousands of dollars....a year! 34min vs. someones life and years of tramma on the family. Cruel and Unusual punishment???? They are worried about the burns....what about DEATH!!! Some people have too much time to worry about the little stuff.

It is a lot of work, but worth it! And it is a lot of fun to do. They are yummy. I recommend trying it at least once.

I come from a very small town, race was never something I ever thought of. Now that I'm older and have been exposed to racial issues and hate crimes. What I have learned is that I was more sheltered than I thought! I think that race is an issue, so are hate crimes. There are many times I hear arguements that this race isn't be treated fairly or that race is being left behind. I think that we should take all this energy and work on problems that will affect our future, like education and other enegry sources. I'm sorry but a poor judgement on the part of our distant ancestors is not an answer for everything that happens today. If that was true men would wear powered wigs and children would all be schooled in one room. The same goes for GLBT...we live in a free country, therefore you have the right to think what you want. If you think that it is wrong to be gay, or be an interracial couple, or paint your house pink, that is your right...however it is not your right to force your beliefs on others. As much as I love Christmas, my boss started with the christmas music on Halloween (he loves it). Today I think it finally all got to us...yep thats right we all started singing to EVERY song! But as for my favorite I like the Transiberian Orchestra version of Carol of the bells.

I have a friend who gave me an Anita Blake book because she thought I could relate to her. After reading the first 2 or 3 books it was amazying how similiar our personalities are, I know it sounds crazy. There were actually passages and conversations that she had that were word for word copies of conversations i had. Of course I am not a vampire hunter and can't raise the dead. He he he! So naturally she would be my fav!

We got to walk over an acre of land to find the perfect tree. Then the tree farmer comes and cuts it down, and tractor it to the car. The normal 5-7 foot trees were $40. That also comes with warm cider and I think a hot dog or hamberger (you may have to pay for them, not sure). It really is an experience!

You do make some valid points, however I have a few that are WAY more annoying. Like if your going to pull out in front me please do at least the speed limit. Another is when someone pulls up next to me or behind me and their bass is SO loud you can't think. And old people who shouldn't be on the road...who can't see over the stearing wheel, don't know where the gas is and have the reflexes of a worm.
