Obama is worried he'll have to study and cram all over again if the debate is delayed, or worse yet- he will not have time to recover in the polls before the vote if the For. Policy debate is closer to election day.
Isn't Obama a Senator!!! God forbid he would return to his job which he is being paid for.

Yesterday Dem. Sen. Reid said McCain's failure to support of this bailout would mean that the Dem.'s wouldn't support it. Now he's saying McCain isn't needed in washington. Not that McCain takes his cues from Reid. Last week Reid said no one had any idea what to do about this ( I guess he was acting as a spokesman for his Dem. party, not america) I'm glad McCain is putting country first in a crisis and giving it the attention it deserves. If it is not a photo-op, like 9/11 was, Obama isn't interested is suspending his campaign.

I have no idea if this is true or not, so I'll not comment on that. But I can take Obama's word on who his mentors and friends are, from his published books and comments:
Rev. Wright who says 9/11 was the result of "America's Chickens Have Come Home to Roost"
Then there is Frank Marshall Davis, whom Obama praised in "In Dreams From My Father" that is a member of the Communist Party USA, and told Obama never to trust white people.
Bill Ayers- friend of Obama, that is a domestic terrorist whose only regret is that he did not harm more americans than he did- so he said on 9-11-2001.
After these connections, if a radical group also funded his education, it really wouldn't matter to me. He's no longer a person I would trust to run any office, even that of community organizer. We're fortunate to have Chicago radio stations in our area and I hear daily calls from steel workers that say "Obama who?" they attended meetings weekly at union halls and churchs and never heard of this guy. According to Obama, this work is one third of his resume.

I'll suggest that Obama read the constitution and amendments, because he seems to think that he's campaigning to the world and he belittles Americans that enjoy their freedom of religion and right to bare arms by saying they "bitterly cling to their religion and guns." Someone might want to mention to him that these are rights that we value, not cling to.
When Hillary Clinton called him on his offensive comments, he said she was running around acting like she's "Annie Oakly" waving her six shooter- Now that is a sexist comment.
I'm forgetting.... how many groups has the Uniter insulted now?
There is women, hunters, gun owners, "typical white people", anyone that served in politics before him, anyone older 60, and mayors or governors of a small states or towns.
Is there anyone left to vote for him?

let me guess, you heard that from Keith Olberman or Rachel Maddow. You need to start listening to different sources if you plan on voting. It might help if you start by reviewing Senate votes to see if Obama's voting record supports his campaign slogans.

You have a short memory, you're factually inaccurate, and you display a gross show of how you can ignore facts to justify your continued support Obama. The Ayers comments were made to the New York Times on the morning of 9-11-2001, which were that he (Ayers) would not rule out another domestic attack and only regretted that he had not done more to harm America. His targets were policemen, soldiers, and other civil servants just as the terrorists that attacked us on 9/11, as well as innocent civilians in both attacks. ooaideIf Obama cares about America as he claims to he does, despite his comments to the contray, than such behavior by anyone would be offensive to him. Ayers has publicly made his opinions known and continues to do so. Ayers is a published author and the book is filled with boasts and praise of his past terroristic behavior. There is no way that Obama has not heard about Ayers's anti-American opinions. In fact, it is not a matter only of the two working for the same employer. Ayers sponsored Obama's campaign, as the first person to introduce him to the political circles that Ayers runs in. Ayers must have seen an buddy in Obama, because he doesn't support anything that isn't in agreement with his opinion. THe man is a radical domistic terrorist. He endorses Obama and Obama endorses him. It's that easy to understand, and the dates are pretty clear.

So you would be friends with a terrorist? You would trust the judgement of a man that would befriend a domestic terrorist, and Obama also directed funds toward Ayers's education intitiatives... He supported his views by funding it. It's a little bit more than just knowing the man.

Thanks, Andrea, for pointing out that this article is false. Even CNN fact checked this and found that indeed Obama will raise business tax.
Furthermore, as a michigan resident, which is a state with an unemployment rate of 8.1- I can personally testify what too much business tax can do to an economy, thanks to our Dem. Gov. Grandholm. The way she has handled our economy has earned us a very high rating by Forbes Magazine as a restricted economy.... Obama is more of the same. Small business owners protested at the state capital or we would also have a luxury tax on many of the services she deemed luxuries- Socialists' like her and Obama like to be Santa, but someone has to pay for it. If the burden is on business owners, they pay out less, give less benefits, or hire less people. Doesn't this make sense to Obama?

In my opinion, some of the liberal women seem to be saying that if you don't agree with them on the pro-abortion opinion then your opinion does not matter and you can not be a model for women. They seem to be saying that Sarah Palin's faith in God is not a character to admire, but to oppose. Well, I guess we understand the true face of far right liberalism now. It's goal is to tear down the values of conservative american women. THat's a message that resonates.

If only he were not a citizen. that would be a dream come true. It'd explain the 'citizen of the world' comment. Who exactly was that meant to impress...

But anyway, if it's a rule to provide it, he has to follow the rules. He should understand this. He went to court to get his running mates off the ticket in IL, while running for the state leg. -because he didn't want to run against the popular female incumbent. Her sin, she had a sloppy petition. I'd say proving citizenship was SLIGHTLY MORE IMPORTANT.

I am so appauled by this. It's murder, and he won't stand up against it!
Rick Warren's Civil Forum really made it a clear choice between these two canidates, for all christians that cared to listen, but this article and this issue really should remove all doubt.
