I have an open mind about it. Personally, I take omega 3's and CoQ10 and I try to stay way from processed foods and I love to incorporate berries and nuts and a lot of natural foods into my diet. And soon I may be adding arginine to my supplements because of all that I've read regarding nitric oxide. But...there's a difference between a natural remedy and the pill form that it arrives in. Blueberries provide antioxidants. But how do you know about the quality of the pills you've purchased? Is that vitamin factory in Utah really producing a good product? Or are they cutting corners so they can hit a certain price point for the sales shelf at Walmart?

I bookmarked this a long time ago. I read it again today and it still gives me goose bumps. I think it has that effect because we can all relate, but the way you express the sentiment is beautiful.

It's definitely a time sucker. At first its fascinating, then you begin to wonder, "Why am I doing this?". Actually, I use it as a way to bookmark things that I want to read later, instead of filling up my browser favorites. Also, that way I can sort of share what I'm reading. I love your icon. Social media and trust are strange bedfellows. Most social media outlets are devolving into self-promotional tools for webmasters. Gather is an exception. So is facebook to some extent. But most of the news submission sites and bookmark sites are just factories for pushing sites.

That's my take on it too. I really think that something like twitter can never replace search engines because it doesn't have a way to rank quality or substance. It also doesn't provide real opinion or writing (140 characters).

Actually, I just read an article today about John McCain giving up his social security disability benefits. It mentioned other high profile people who have chosen to give up their benefits because they don't really need them.
