Please remember that your kid is not "ED" or SPE" or whatever THEY want to call him. When you hear any or other connotation about him, spot the perwson right there and say,
whith the pride of a proud parent : "EXCUSEME? my son is CHALLENGED person, just like you and your family are CHANLLEGED for whatever they can not do EASILY. challenged, that it.

There are marked active components in this poetic work, if such a thing can be said of this type of poem, which provides unity to the pieces. They evoke moods from calm to intense, but the sequence is never jarring and they seem to flow into one another without losing a sense of individuality. It's quite an accomplishment.
