What better place to end my trip than at Disney World in Orlando, FL? The first ride I went to when I got there was the Rock 'n' Roller Coaster that stars the Bad Boys of Boston, Aerosmith!

Everyone was correct with the author - last night I went to see Nicholas Sparks. The sports team I was referring to though was the Carolina Panthers, which is shared by both North and South Carolina.

(Note that two teams are referred to in the first paragraph:)
Today's state had a professional sports team with an insect mascot - Charlotte Hornets - the team relocated to New Orleans
It shares a different sports team with another state - Carolina Panthers

Though there's no complete correct answer, I'll still give away the points.

Yesterday I was in Blackfoot, Idaho, once known as Grove City. There I visited the Idaho Potato Museum where I received hash browns for paying the admission. They were quite good.

Yesterday I went to Portland, OR - the city of roses - to first visit the International Rose Test Garden. Second, I went to the Tower of Cosmic Reflections in the Portland Classical Chinese Garden. However, most of your responses for the structure in the second garden was another answer: the Kashin Tei or Flower Heart House in the Portland Japanese Garden. But since both responses fit in with my clues, I'll select either answer.

The hit "Sweet Home Alabama" includes a reference to "Southern Man" and Neil Diamond. The oldest settlement I went to in Alabama was Mobile. Later this week the city hosts the event Bayfest, though I never said I was going to it; I'll be at another city for my adventures at that point. However, during my stay in the city yesterday, I visited the Mobile Saenger Theatre, home to the Mobile Symphony Orchestra.

Mena Suvari, born in Newport, RI, played the cheerleader Kevin Spacey is obsessed with in American Beauty. The landmark I visited in the city is Kingscote. It was originally built in 1893 for George Noble Jones but later sold to William Henry King. It remained in the Kind family until 1972.

On my trip to Lincoln, NE, my mom and I visited the International Quilt Study Center & Museum. Later I had a great time at the Buckcherry concert. Interesting how the name can be rearranged to spell Chuck Berry. (And yes...they did that on purpose.)

The correct answer is New York City, at Madame Tussauds. I was referring to the Madonna exhibit. (Good job sticking with your first instinct.) There are two Madonna wax figures there, but I prefer the 80s style one!
