We are all insignificant atoms floating inside the Earth inside the universe inside of our minds. The minute we realize that and embrace what we have, the better. Although I do believe that each person has a purpose to better our world, if we chose to find our purpose and use it.

I am amazed at people that scramble to have every luxury to have it, not out of need. In the end, we need none of it.

Damn it, you made me think again, I was having a shallow human moment =-)

I planned the meals for two weeks yesterday. Today is my lazy day, I call it Family Freezer Fun night. Simply stated, I am NOT cooking tonight. I will open a can, or make a frozen pizza. My little one is opting for fresh fruit and pizza.

=) The vet told me several years ago I could litter train Dachshund, I declined. In IL today the high was -6, and I have to shovel an area for the dog so he can get to a tree. Litter doesn't sound so bad right about now.

I didn't have a New Year's superstition, but now I am worried. I did laundry, deep cleaned the kitchen, made a quiche, paid bills, gave the dog a bath & clipped nails, ran errands and planned the weeks menu. Does this mean I'll have to keep, up that pace? =O
