I know there's zillions of things I need to improve and honest criticism is what I'm looking for. Regarding the needless details, the redundancies and other flaws, I've seriously started thinking about writing my stories in my native language. Other than English, lol, it does kind'a show in the choice of words and not only :)

Ellen, I'm most honored to have caught your attention with this. As the title says, it is a polished version of the same (well, more or less the same) story I wrote some time ago. It's planned to develop into some sort of a little book and what inspired me to write it was... dunno, just my playfull imagination, I guess :)

A F, thank you so much for taking the time to read this and leave such a detailed feedback! Your suggestions will be taken seriously into consideration.

Selene, the way you (always) say it, it actually makes me believe the story is worth something, lol :)) I am really glad you liked it and I thank you for stopping by.

Glad you enjoyed it, Alison. Sadly, it'll take some time to get another chapter posted. I'm having it outlined in my head and a few scribbled notes, but to develop it into something worth reading, it'll take some long hard work. Bare with me, it'll come here, eventually :)

Hi Stacey, welcome aboard!
Yes, the idea is to write short stories based on a song. Whatever inspires you in that song: its lyrics, a few specific sentences or words in those lyrics, the title, the melody of the song, whatever.
Word limit should be 500, but I'm not gonna rip anyone's head off if a few more words come in :)

You're doing pretty good!
I'm definitely giving it a try next year. This year I woke up a bit late, never heard of this NaNo thing before and it was already November 10th when I thought of trying. Then I went on vacation for about a week. To Paris - visiting and no writing :) Then I found I am allowed to write also in my native language, which is definitely big plus - I'm ok with English, but I'm unstopable in my own language :) And then... then I found out I should write about 3500 words per day to make it to 50.000 by the end of November, and my 1 and half years kid suggested I wouldn't make it.
So... my respect and admiration for everyone who tries!
