That's part of what I'm hoping to achieve with a couple of my resolutions. They are things I've been wanting to incorporate into my life, and now is as good a time as any.

No lottery tickets, because I'd be upset if I didn't break even on them. So, that would undermine the entire "Santa gift" thing for me.

She's been gone for more than a year, and there are several ways in which I may choose to honor her memory. As the year progresses, I shall see which are the best ways and which are the most feasible.

It is an interesting tradition. I think that I may have to start a similar "Santa gift" tradition for myself (no lottery tickets, though), since I don't have a family.

I don't buy food that contains artificial colors, artificial flavors or artificial sweeteners. I don't buy things with high fructose corn syrup in them, either.

Green tea, which has a variety of health benefits, is one of the beverages that I regularly consume.

Spices such as turmeric, which is thought to have anti-cancer benefits (along with a variety of other health benefits), are frequently used in my food preparation.
