Keep up the good work David. Pointing out the lack of integrity of the denialists really steams them. You can always depend on Steve Bachman, Col. George and Marilyn M. illustrate the validity of you post.

Marilyn is the prototype denialist. The only facts she has are those that she or someone else made up. She is the epitome of the negative obstructionist twits who stand in the way of progress on any issue. Lie, lie, lie.
When the facts do not serve her opinion she just makes up a new set of facts. It is that simple for the simpleminded.

Ron change rarely comes in one sweeping act or event. We all wish it could but it doesn't. Obama is changing the momentum. It is up to us all of us to keep nudging the rudder of the ship of state toward change. We need a government that exists for the American people, not for the evil bastards in the coprorate board rooms who currently control our destinies.

I agree with you Sherry. This bill is a start. Change seldom comes with one sweeping act. This bill can be a momentum changer. Sure we wanted better. We can keep fighting to make it better in the years to come. First we have to turn the ship around then we can fine tune where we want the ship to go.

Very nice shot. Years a go we had one that would eat cat food out of the cat dish on the front porch. My teenage daughter came home late one evening and reached out to pet her cat that was sitting on the porch railing. She found out after the first pat that it was a possum not her cat. You could hear the screech for blocks around.

We had another that lived in our back yard with paralyzed back legs. One night I noticed it out in the street and captured it under a garbage can. I called wildlife rescue and they picked it up the next day. Several days later they called and said that they had done an x-ray and found a 22 caliber slug in the spinal column. They said they would let him live out his life in an enclosure where they kept animals who could not be returned to the wild.

Very nice. The skimmers nest in the spring in the city park at Rockport, Texas. They lay their eggs on the ground and the city ropes off the area until all the babies are grown and gone.

Well it does prove that there are a goodly number of mentally deranged folk are in our midst. My goodness I have even seen a few here on Gather. The secret is we mustn't let them get control. That means we all have to pay attention and vote, vote, vote.
