I can't imagine a day without air conditioning anymore, so I am sorry that you had to go through it.

A word of advice for you though: it is better for the air conditioner if you turn it on before it gets hot (like in the morning) so that it doesn't have to work so hard to cool your home. That could be why the old AC died on you - it was working too hard for an old machine.

I know that the place that we purchased our tires fills them up to 35 PSI - and the pressure should remain constant irrespective of distance traveled or temperature.

You should also be promoting your lenses outside of Squidoo to get the best results. Things such as directory submissions, article marketing and social bookmarking are the ways that I have received the best results.

Another good idea is to blog about the lenses you create - that usually gets the traffic flowing.

I have had some great success with Squidoo, and it has sent a number of visitors to my "money" sites. I like that it gives you the opportunity (just like Gather) to explore topics outside of your core business and turn that into money as well.

I like your point on planning ahead - part of the planning should include keeping up to date books so that you can spot trends in your business as well as good times of year to buy inventory, or keep extra money on hand for those slow times of the year.

Right now in the summer, I wake up, check my email and work for a couple of hours. I don't get back to the computer until 8PM or so when the kids go to bed.

I find that in the summer, you have to be a bit more flexible with your schedule - if it is a nice day out, why not go out and enjoy the weather? You can always work when it is dark.

Well, I outsourced my work out of Canada to the US. For the work that I did outsource, I needed good quality English, so finding someone in North America was a must.
