I'd love to order a Breyer "grab bag" but unfortunately they don't ship outside the US.. boo! :-(

Wow.. Eukanuba/IAMS (owned by Procter & Gamble corporation) generates millions of dollars in profits from the sale of their products. I'm sure they have a budget for advertising. You'd think they would offer to pay for these photos that they use commercially - instead of leeching off of customers.

I'm not sure why gather.com members allow the commerical use of their photos, etc. Isn't anyone concerned about copyright issues?

Anyways, in an unrelated (or not) note, have you seen this?

Which product companies are we talking about here? If it's a big name pet food company, are there any royalty fee or liscence-per-use payments made to the owner of the photograph?

What kind of compensation do the owners of the photograph(s) get in return for pet food companies using a photo for commercial gain & profit?

Yeah, like Colorado Springs, USA is a hotbed of a French community. *NOT*

Why not just ship 'em over here to Valcartier, Quebec? Or even France?

A bit convoluted (having to scroll and scroll through pages of code to find the #CID) - but I eventually figured it out.

How hard can it be for Gather web site developers to add/attach a "permalink" button to each comment/post to make it easier for gather members to grab the link?

I mean, you already have a "Share on Facebook" link, a "Share on Twitter" link, and basic text editing buttons (bold, italic, underline & link) - surely, it can't be THAT hard for site developers to add a "P" for permalink..

Just my .02cents

Were you trying to insert a "Poll Daddy" poll in your post? Because I was having the same problem adding a poll to one of my groups.

The Gather HelpCentre is a great idea and wonderful resource. Make no mistake - you are extremely adept at explaining, helping and guiding - (much appreciated) - but I find this site/page VERY confusing to navigate. There are so many links, so many graphics, and so many "help" topics nested inside other help topics that it all becomes a bit too much information overload. A little confusing for my poor aging brain cells, to navigate and find my way around.

Just my 02cents

I once saw Tony Rice play at a bluegrass festival. My eyes couldn't believe what I was seeing. I had never seen and heard anyone play so fast, so accurately and so beautifully (flamenco guitarists notwithstanding ;-)

I've travelled in England (London, Edinburgh) and a good part of France (Paris, Normandy, Versailles, Chantilly, Caen, etc), Amsterdam, Belgium; and have never been mistaken for an American :-O

Then again, it may be due to the Canadian flag I have on my backpack ;-)
