Which leads to my own " gripe " in the culture which is the way that ALL HOLIDAYS are bledning together and therefore diluting in special charm.
WREATHS Used to be for X-mas, and now there are easter wreaths, and light displays at peoples homes almost as elaborate for Easter, Halloween and St. Pats day etc etc as for the Yule season.
ALL you have to do is peruse an " Oriental Trading Company " catalog a few months in a year to see the generic over melding of the traditions of each distinct holiday.
Was it started by hallmark to sell more cards ? ? ? Was the original sin a Hannakah Bush ? ? Who Knws, but it must be stopped ! ! !
