It's just starting to turn cool where I am. I am eagerly awaiting fall, my favorite season. I miss living further up north where there seems to be much more color. But to be honest, I don't miss the winters that much. I'll stick with my fall season down here. Peace

I don't have an I Pod, but I do have a MP3 player that I've got loaded. I love to listen to it when I have to go to do laundry. They always have crappy talk shows on there. So I crank up the tunes and rock out while my laundry chugs away. Fortunately, i don't have to go there too often, but it's still nice to have my music with me. Peace

Beautiful work. I can really relate to it. It seems like sleep is something like relinquishing power and control. I think I miss the childhood days when sleep was something I went into blissfully. Oh how things have changed. Peace

I can't believe a grandmother could do that to her grandson. It's amazing how blind a mother can be to her son's faults and problems. If anything she should be trying to make it up to her grandson for how horrible his father has been. I'm so sorry that you all have to go through all of this. Best of luck to you and there is a lot of good advice here as to ways you can get help. I hope it all works out. Peace

What a wonderful tale you have told. I have had many cats over my life time. Right now I am owned by an all black kitty that is blind in one eye. But she is an angel. She loves us all and makes our lives richer by having her. thank you for sharing this and peace.

What an interesting concept. Going back, but back is no longer the same. I have driven past buildings that I used to live in only to find they have been torn down and other things have been built there. It's an odd feeling. Like the past is hazy and unclear wearing new clothing. Thanks for sharing and peace.

I love to walk the streets at night and look up at the windows all dark. I wonder what the people behind those windows are dreaming of. I think we all dream of the same things, want the same things. We are all connected that way.

The second was so touching and sad. Thank you for tugging on my heart strings today.

I am a big supporter of her and many of her causes. She did pave the way for women in the world, not just the United States. Thank you for all the great information on her. There was information I did not know about her. Thanks for sharing and peace.

Well, let's see. I haven't had insurance for my family in over five years. We couldn't afford a place to live and insurance. It boiled down to rent or medical coverage. As for Medicaid, we made too much money to get that. Housing costs are expensive where we live and it isn't taken into consideration really when applying for govt. assistance. We did manage to get our kids on FAMIS which is a program for children of families without coverage. Their coverage is great. We only pay a 5 dollar co-pay for any services rendered and only 5 dollars for medications. So we don't really have to worry about them right now. But should our income go up, we will lose that coverage. But that doesn't mean that we will be able to afford insurance on our own. My work offers coverage for a family that costs about half of my paycheck each pay and offers lousy coverage. I am all for finding new solutions for the problem. The only time I can remember not having to worry about my medical coverage was when I was working for the government. The I had excellent coverage. So why is it so scary to people to see what changes can be made to make things better?

I think each kid's needs are different. My youngest is in special classes and I know he is receiving services I could never offer at home, but I would consider home schooling his older brother. Now that he is out of what was an excellent elementary school, we don't know what to expect from the middle school. But I would consider home schooling for him if it is as bad as some of the parents are saying. I think it is a very personal and important decision that each parent needs to make for themselves and what is best for their children. Thanks for a great video. Peace
