Steph, our kids play with neighborhood kids as well as interact with kids at the library and other places. They spend time with people of all different ages :)

I home educate our kiddos too. We'll start the last week in August. My daughter will be in 3rd and my son will finish K (we're doing K over the summer). I have a four and two year old at home as well. We love home education!!! Happy back to school to ya.

Pretty much the same here...we have 3 kids who play computer games. We have a few favorites bookmarked which they can easily get to themselves. My sis in law gave us money to buy a nintendo wii, which we've played and really enjoy...so yep...we love games of all types and try to stick to educational and steer clear of violent games.

With an extra hour not spent in the kitchen, I'd spend the time reading, playing games, or taking a walk with my 4 kiddos. I love spending time with the people who mean the most to me and saving time while still serving healthy meals would be HUGE for me!

Sounds great. We've done a few of the things you listed. My kids LOVE any sort of science experiment we do and they are facinated with bugs...probably because I'm always capturing them in jars and containers and making a big deal about them.

I love that natural learning your kids are getting! Great job mom!

Great photo essay...very enjoyable to read along.

We enjoyed wonderful illegal fireworks too...not ours...we were in a park where they went off for close to 2 hrs till the police came, told them to stop, took some of their fireworks, left and then the show started again! Crazy.
