And you know she was dirty dancing because that's how she is. ;) And grabbing everyone's butts. She gets that from her mother. xD

Yes, that was a very thoughtful gesture for her and a wonderful wedding gift! One of the best ones we could've asked for. :) Certainly better than a baguette pan. :P

Rae died back in March to breast cancer. She had a very rare, aggressive form of it. The doctors guessed she had it only about 6 months before they detected it and she died about 8 months after having it (about 2 months after being diagnosed with it).

That's obviously gorgeous. Obviously I can emphasize because I've been there myself and I know exactly what you're talking about. It's very hard to lose loved ones for any reason, especially to cancer.

You wrote a beautiful summary of what cancer is. And yes, it's unpredictable, so no matter how much we think we know we can never really know.

Just keep remembering that you've got people that care about you and that are going through the same thing and they're all here for you when you need us!

Wow, that sounds like a pretty scary situation. I'm very glad that you didn't contract something while your white count was that low! And it sounds like you're well on your way to a recovery, which is always very good to hear! I hope things keep improving and that you don't have to have another scare like this!

That's wonderful! It's great to hear that you're doing better and not needing the meds. I hope it keeps up! It's always a good feeling to not need to rely on medicine to get by during the day, so I understand how wonderful it must feel to not need it. :)

That sounds like a wonderful idea! Congrats on the opening.

Two is actually a pretty good turnout. It'll grow as people learn about it through word of mouth and such. Plus, you have to remember that some people might be a little embarrassed about going out to a group to meet about it.

That's definitely a beautiful line to keep in mind, too. God bless your new group and help it to grow and prosper!

I'm glad you're starting to get a little energy back. It's hard, but at least you're getting there and you're surrounded by people that love you and are there to support you. ^_^

I'm really sorry to hear about your house. I hope it gets settled. Two weeks is completely unreasonable for a moving time frame. It could take that entire time just to find another place to move into, not to mention packing and actually moving or anything.

And you must've raised your daughters well because they're completely right! You're beautiful, hair or no hair. :) It makes you look distinguished. And it's really neat that your grandson wants his hair done like yours. ^_^ It takes some courage to go out in public with a shaved head, but just remember that you're beautiful to be you in general.

I'll certainly keep you in my prayers and I hope your house situation ends well!

That sounds like a really neat and fun event! How nice of you to donate those pillows...they sound really neat and I'll have to run by and check out pictures of them! I'm intrigued!

Sounds like it was a very successful event. $14,000 is a LOT of money. And sounds like your pillows did pretty well, too. That's quite a bit of money for them to raise!

That's really a wonderful outlook to have on life. Every birthday is extra special because you're around to celebrate it with family and loved ones, regardless of whatever the number may be!

And I'm glad you were able to see a "younger version of yourself". I bet it made you kind of stop and look back at all you came through and how far you've come? It's wonderful that you could pass on a nice word and some encouragement to someone else!

I hope you had a wonderful birthday, even though your first choice restaurant didn't exactly pan out.
