I opted to wait to see this movie on the small screen because to be honest, i just didn't think it would work as a a truly engaging concept film. After watching it, i was pleasantly surprised not just in the amazing performances by Evan Rachel Wood and Jim Sturgess as lovers, Jude and Lily but the sheer magnitude of the undertaking, how to compress the idea behind the music and produce such a vibrant film with so much momentum. It's a must see and must own for ever Beatles fan and for newbies, a great primer to the music and times of the 60's.
