great post. was hoping to find something on scorpio, being one myself. you should check my birth chart. it's pretty wild. i don't know what ALL of it means, but even visually, it's CRAZY. i have some 5 planets in scorpio as well as my sun.

lilith came before eve in the hebrew apocrypha. she was made as adam kadmon's first mate, but she defied god and man by refusing to be inferior to adam. really, lilith was a mesopotamian goddess figure, most likely one of a "dark goddess," though that connotes evil and it is not necessarily the case. early christianity and judaism took on many prior deities and pronounced them "evil." a "dark goddess" in older traditions refers instead to the shadow, as dualistic forms was common from the time of zoroastrianism onward.

hilarious. i loved it and it was just what i needed to brighten my day, since i get to go shopping for raw vegetables today. since i'm already self-employed, maybe i should just create a whole new job for myself using this model. hmmm, who would my target demographic be though?

a great article, discussing many subjects that have been turning over and over in my mind. i have been needing to re-embark on some kind of spiritual journey, as i have let my "spiritual life" fall to the wayside these past few years. i realize that it is not entirely possible. we are, after all, "spiritual beings having a human experience." perhaps it has just been my time to join again with like-minded others instead of staying on my solitary path. only time and reflection will tell.

i find it really insane that there are so many people that are getting outraged by this. i'm definitely not for statutory rape, or anything of the sort. however, there are people that just refuse to see anything beyond their limited view. john p. ^^^ needs to take some classes or something. i don't know anything about him, how old he is, or whatever. i don't care to. he's obviously a close-minded bigoted person to a very large extent. calling the civil rights movement something that has outlasted its time, may be relevant in some cases, but to say that

"blacks, well, it seems that they'll never forgive, and always demand more."

..... my GOD! that's downright racist. i cannot understand how someone could even begin to say something like that in a public forum. john p. should be ashamed of himself for that. if you feel that way, keep it to yourself. people are people. period. get with the program. are we living in the 18th century?

this is one of my all-time favorite, life/philosophy-changing books. philip k. dick was an absolute genius. thanks for posting the review. more people need to know about his work, in my opinion.

i know when i find a poem or piece of music that really resonates with me, it kind of makes it a little bit easier to integrate that hurt into who i am, and makes me a stronger person. i hope i've been able to do that with you. :)
