You can remove the tops and glue them in a row to a piece of painted wood, or weathered wood. Could be a plaque too. Use as a vase for a row of flowers. Add a hanger for the wall.

Did you know that many animal shelters take empty pill bottles to reuse for animal meds?

No suggestion on how to get rid of the pills but, gosh, I'd avoid using disposable diapers if at all possible - that's just another thing to put in a landfill that will never go away.

Another great idea from Cecila!

I've been doing this also with a twist. I open my cans with one of those side openers. You can then replace the lid if you like! You can seal with clear cellophane tape to use as a cool present container.

You could also attach round wooden feet to the bottom of the can with epoxy and one on the lid for a 'handle'.

This makes it more important than ever to report your dependants correctly during the year and not use the tax system as a sort of savings plan.

You should try NOT to get a refund but claim your correct status and number of dependents. That way you get the full use of your money during the year and the government won't end up owing you anything.

Super ideas! You can also cut off the top and bottom of plastic bottles to get a more durable "tube" to hold a cord.

I have a group called Recycle Challenge. It's taking a while to get off the ground. The goal is to post an interesting recycling article - not telling us how many glass bottles you recycled but how to use what we normally consider trash in new ways. How to get more than one use out of something, that type of thing. At the end of the month, I pick someone to be Queen or King of the Trash Heap! No prizes or anything - purely an honorary title! HaHaHa!

But I hardly ever qualify for a survey and have been with them for about a year. I just turned in points for a 10 dollar check. I was getting about thee or four surveys a week but when I never qualified, I stopped answering them. Then I got an email from them asking me why I stopped. So I started again.
