i'm surprised that i'm the first one to say... madonna! i have to give natalie merchant her proper dues on this question too though.

bill - okay, i'm callin' you current DJs out here: i feel like every time i hop in my car y'all are playing 'freckle song' so i decided to check your archives today. sure enough, the current has played that song (at least) once every day this month, and never anything else by chuck prophet - those are KDWB kinda stats! i think we can all agree that 'doubter out of jesus' is at least as good as the 'freckle' tune. i think it's time to spread the love around a bit. cheers!

heard 'musicheads' for the first time last night - loved it! i'm gonna go score the chuck prophet and MGMT discs on lunch break here. well, anyway, my first concert was 'spacehog' at first ave. - all told, it was a pretty introduction to my concert going career.
