Well explained and I agree with the opponent on their premise. If someone receives 1% of their total income from tax payers, anything that person does can be labeled "tax payer funded." I don't agree that it is wrong but it is certainly tax payer funded.

The GOP did great in NJ. That was a hell of a victory.

People rejected Palin/Dick Armey and the TEA PARTY movement: that's the other big story. The tea patiers candidate got rejected.

Democrats wake up. If you don't pass health care, we will not bother to go out and vote for you. That's my last takeaway

That was one hell of an upset in NY. Simply put, one more seat to vote for health care.

Other democrats better take note of what happened in NJ and Virginia: Don't count on Obama voters if you don't pass healthcare.

Obama voters did not come out because they don't have any reason to do so. If you are left with the old and white, you will all lose.

40,000 soldiers for a government that was already considered illegitimate by 20-30%. Another 20-30% will be added to that list of those who consider Karzai corrupt, an agent of the CIA (although only his broth is on the CIA payroll), and elected through fraud.

I think these guys are making it easier for Obama. No more troops because we can't afford it. Where are the fiscal conservatives when you need them?

When the dust settles...

When the tea baggers and town hall yellers go home and get mail from Blue Cross and Blue Shield saying "Thanks for your support at the recent town hall for your community, keep us more wealthy and here is your bill. As always pay us promptly or else..."

Meanwhile, Joe Lieberman will join the republican and make the democrat short of 60 and filibuster the whole damn thing. I say CALL HIS BLUFF.

Leo, you are right on point.

I will post an article when I find some time about how my company has eliminated the coverage that I currently have and replaced it with one that pretty much says: DON'T SEE A DOCTOR OR ELSE.

The plan they are offering me is cheaper, so long I don't get sick. I pay insurance, a lower premium, to never see a doctor. Anytime I step in there, I will have to open my wallet paying four times more what I am currently paying. Many would be happy to pay lower premium but that's not the end of the story. The out of pocket costs are ridiculous. Why pay low premiums if you can't afford the out of pocket cost?

This is the insurance companies raping the public one last time before change takes place. Hope congress makes it the last time.

Yes, they are right, the public option will drive them out of business if they want to continue their current business practices.

The mission for Afghanistan was not clear to me under Bush and Obama has also refused to define it, because if he does and that's not attained at time t, then he would have failed.

Are we there to get Bin Laden? Are we there to create stability in a land that has never seen stability? Why are there? Until I know why we are there, I can't tell whether it is something we ought to be doing.

Sorry Marilyn, you don't make up the rules for the nobel prize. They are not funded by your tax dollars and they don't owe you an explanation, and they don't care if you are happy about it or not. You are talking about their group, not the other way around. Yes, they are that important and that's why you are talking about them.

According to THEM, Obama's time in office is totally irrelevant. He could have lost for all they cared.

Did not expect him to get a thing. I for one, knew Chicago was a long shot although I did not expect them to be out in round one. What I am saying is your [not you in particular] explanations to benign events are totally dumb. Does not get the olympics is just that. Nothing to extend it to how the world views him or whatever.

If you concluded that it was a world rejection, how do you interpret this? A world 180 turn around show of love and affection for Obama?

It's their damn award after all. While my personal opinion is that it's premature, I can't stand you right winger jumping up and down like you are at some tea bagging event pretending that your tax dollars and future is at stake.

It's a damn award from a damn NGO doing whatever the hell they want with their award.

Take a chill pill, swallow your sorrow, and live another day to celebrate something bad happening to America under Obama. Today is not that day, sorry.

It is hate when you come out week after week, criticizing him for talking to school children, a thing every president has done, and celebrating the loss of an olympic bid by a US city.

When we saw them jumping up down last Friday, that really told me a lot. These people are haters. They were celebrating an American city losing an olympic bid, and now they are outraged at an American winning the nobel peace prize. Let's give it to the President of Iran, then right wingers will cheer.
