> Thank you so much for giving the opportunity here, to express these most heartfelt concerns. I have spent a great deal of my life studying what it is, that is really going to bring about improved conditions in our own lives; and in our friends, families, and communities; globally.
>
> While we all are individuals, and have our unique personalities and ideas, there are so many basic needs and wants that are common to us all. Perhaps if we build our solutions to life's challenges on these things that are common to us all, we may find real lasting peace and love.
>
> The song topics that I write about, and that are pertinent to the important issues of this 2008 election year are these:
>
> "DADDY"S GONE AWAY," was written for my father who passed away. He was a very close friend of mine, and losing him made me think how hard it is for loved ones and children, (on both sides of the conflict), to lose their father to war. War is insanity. The United States is a leader in the world, and certainly we can come up with better solution to conflicts than death and destruction.
>
> "THE LOVE WITHIN," is written for people to gain hope that their beautiful, God given soul, and uncorrupted spirit, will rise up above the hurt and confusion, and past the difficulties we all face in life.
>
> "ALL ROADS LEAD BACK HOME," expresses that right within the opposite energies of life, still we can find the contentment and joy of living. And, also find compassion and appreciation for others; who may be on a different path, but who are still on a similar journey through life.

> Thank you Sheryl. It would be great to write some songs with you sometime.
