Perfect poem for tonight. I just have one bow to pick...the moon isn't a hunter's bow, it's a huntress's bow. It belongs (and is) to Diana/Artemis/Selene. (Another illusion.)

I love this poem because the ending brings healing. Very skillfully and sensitively written.

There are a lot of liberals among secular Jews; religious Jews tend to be Hasidic (fundamentalist) or Orthodox (conservative). Reform Jews are still the minority in the U.S. and in Israel. But the majority of people of Jewish descent, even in Israel, are secular rather than religious. (At least, that's how I understand it as an ex-Catholic Pagan Episcopalian with a Jewish grandmother.)

Anyone who is truly a person of faith and has a conscience understands that Palestinian people are just that, people, and entitled to exactly the same rights, respect and dignity as any other human beings.
