Tori started Kindergarten this year and Vincie is in Pre-K! My oldest is in FOURTH grade! Wow. And then of course, my (almost) 8 year old is in 2nd grade, and my (almost) 7 year old is in 1st grade! I tell ya, they sure don't stay babies long enough!

Speaking of "Babies".... My "Baby" is gonna be TWO in January!! I can't believe it!! LOL

I think that having a plan is a good thing and is important for your family's safety. But at what point do we become simply "prepared" and become "paranoid?" I can see why- if it's true- our government doesn't want to cause alarm and panic.

That's irresponsible of our government if it's true, but what is the better option when trying to get citizens to prepare for something like that? How do you prepare someone for something like that without causing panic.

It's all scary. We can all do our best to be prepared. It won't necessarily change the way the world's going at this point, just increase our chances of surviving through it all. :-/

I think it's probably been taken out of context and people are over-reacting... Not knowing all details or more about situation, I couldn't say for sure... But seriously, if he'd have made a HUGE deal out of it or had "planned" it for days with the girl or something, that's entirely different... It seems to be a spur of the moment thing and he was just helping with her imagination.

Like I said, it's hard to decide not knowing details... I do know that teachers aren't perfect- just like parents. The fact that he owned up that he made an error in judgement seems like he didn't have any further agenda and that nothing sinister was going on.
