Hey Marty,

Didn't know there were many market followers around here. Glad to see there are a few of us hanging in there. I'm a full time trader so I follow this stuff religiously.

The jobs data really killed us Fri morning. Futures bottomed when the report came out and it was negative from there. The S&P 500 is testing its lows again in the 1400 - 1390 range again. If it drops below there, get ready for a rough ride.

I write about this stuff all the time, although not on Gather so if you want to follow along w/ a few traders just let me know.

In your situation, passive income should not be a priority. My personal advice would involve getting yourself back onto your feet at best possible speed. When you do not have enough income to survive you should not be worried about investments, but using what you have for daily needs. Your "wrecked credit" can wait as well until you have enough income to support yourself, so whatever type of primary source of income you can generate would be the best place to start.

Agreed about kids imitating what they see. People might think its hard to sit that high up on the morality scale, but its hard to imagine what I would be thinking if she was to lecture a future daughter about similar types of behavior.

Its no big deal - I didn't have that much time invested in her anyways. Thanks for the comment.

Good point - I didn't reveal the WHY SHE DID IT section b/c there really wasn't a real answer. Can't chalk it up to being young b/c she was 23-24 years of age at the time. Best estimate I generated was her constant need of attention got the best of her and she wanted to please her "companion" at the time that she went along with his wishes.

Different strokes for different folks (an appropriate pun for this scenario)

Thanks Gabby - hope you liked it! All of my friends say I should write a book about the complexities of women (personally I don't see any) but who knows. If I get a decent response I'll look into it.
