That is wonderful! The only reason it is sickening is that not all of us are so blessed to have that kind of love. I love the both of you and love what you are to each other, it is refreshing to see that it is still possible--even after failed relationships and years of searching! I am thrilled for you both!! You certainly got some incredible shots! I love the one with Lily and the bubbles, and the ones of you and Drake! Matt's cannonball splash is fantastic--they're all just great!! I cannot wait to see the shots you'll get with the waterslide next month!

Over the summer, my eight year old will be reading Shiloh by Phyllis Reynolds Naylor, Call It Courage by Armstrong Sperry, and probably a few of his Indiana Jones chapter books. My ten year old will read 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea by Jules Verne, Hound of the Baskervilles by Arthur Conan Doyle, and wants to re-read some of the Harry Potter series. He just finished White Fang by Jack London to kick off the summer reading.

Both of my older boys love Abraham Lincoln and George Washington. I am sure they would really enjoy Amelia Earhart, as well. We live near the Air Force Museum in Ohio, and they love everything related to flight. I'm sure they would love to add these to our reading list!

Very interesting article, quite thought provoking. Many of your thoughts have bothered me, as well. While education is definitely important, what good is information you only recall a fraction of? If only everyone would actually think... Thank you for sharing!

My heart really goes out to you, Trish! It will take time for you to deal with all you went through because of the fire. Good morning, all! It's a gorgeous day in Ohio! Rough morning...overslept, had to follow people who do not want to drive the speed limit, grumpy children....hopefully the beautiful weather will make everything else improve. At least I am still in a good mood!! Hope everyone has a wonderful day!
