I used to work in IT so I use a computer analogy. The United States needs a reformat of the hard drive and an reinstall of a minimalist operating system specified by the original Constitution. Then we reboot.

Tica, Tom Jefferson did sat that. I also agree with Dale using much the same analogy. Arguing with the barking moonbats is a lot like pig wrestling, you get dirty and the pig likes it. It might be fun for a round or two, but it gets to be a true time waster, time that could be put to better use.

Jim T., you sound like my boss, he's for the "thinning of the herd," and it ain't bad idea when I see Jay Leno playing the man on the street or when Sean Hannity sends out somebody with a cellphone to do it. Myself, I leave those decisions to God Himself, I would not want that power in fear I would abuse it but I do feel I'm entitled to my opinion on the matter.

In the long run, they will lose, we have more power then they do when you add things up plus I put my faith on God and the Bible, the good will win since light beats darkness. In the short run, if we play our cards right with the tea parties and so on, we can avert this but if we don't a lot of people will get hurt or killed.

I see this as the modern version of the Tower of Babel being built by Emperor Nimrod. God stopped him and his efforts and it will be much the same for the New World Order.

We were talking about this at work, one of us came up with the fact that the human being is the only animal that will foresake its sense of survival in order to get along or hope to get along and this is the doom of many people. Chamberlain tried to negotiate and get along with Adolph Hitler and look where it got him.

Ghandi's way wasn't bad at all, but you have to take into account the other side. The British did have some morals, although they jailed people and cracked some heads, they knew it was wrong to whip out machine guns and "rock and roll." Now if Ghandi took on somebody like the Nazis, the local SS officer would issue the order and say "hose 'em" and Ghandi and company would have perished in a hail of gunfire from MP-40's, Kar-98's and MG 34/42's. Ghandi was a good man, so far as I know of, and there is time for peaceful protests and so on but there are times you have to take into consideration the other side as well.

Halli, I agree with you, we need to take on this latest evil but the downside is we are being politically correct about it and this will be our downfall.

True, not only El Cid, but in 1389, it took the Serbs to hold back Moslem expansion into Europe. Being part Serbian myself, I kind of feel proud that maybe some of my ancestors were part of that.

Actually we did have HDTV in 1999. It had been in the works for many years, the French had an 819 line system that came online in 1949, it was in black and white only but there was discussion of color but it never happened that they gave it up and went with the 625 line SECAM color standard. It was based on a high def system developed in Vichy France during World War II that had 1000 lines. The Germans in World War II developed a 1050 line standard and used it for their military.

Now in the United States, the ATSC, American Television Standards Committee, system was adopted in 1996 and the first station to broadcast in HDTV was WRAL in Raleigh, North Carolina and WHD-TV in Washington DC. Later that year, Zenith marketed the first projection HDTV. Hatachi was selling them by 1999.

We didn't have Blu-Ray players in 1999 though, I got one as a gift, now I'll have to hook it up to my 1982 Zenith, I've been watching the same set for 27 years.

Or take over a State or group of States like the libertarian based "Free State Project" or the Christian effort to take a State like South Carolina and go from there. Although the latter might not appeal to some libertarians, I'm just pointing out that a possible good start is to try to take over a State and use it as a power base as a first step. This may or may not lead to secession although IMHO, secession is needed to send a message.

Yeah, I think to catch TB, even the drug resistant kind, or most other diseases, there is a factor where one has to have a weakened or otherwise compromised immune system. I think if you have a fair to good immune system, there is not much to worry about but you do have to try to keep it up.

Yeah, I heard about that too where the real Dow would be 5000 to 7500, I think Glenn Beck mentioned it plus I listen to WWCR on my shortwave radio (according to Obama, possession of one makes one a terrorist, I have 5 or 6) on 3215 kc. WWCR is World Wide Christian Radio.

I do believe that we will win out be it through God's doing, Him doing it through our own actions or us alone, but I think the card we play now will either make this a bumpy ride or a really, really bumpy ride depending on what happens.
