Another song I am writing, and is a good idea, is one about...my dog. Here's the story that I know.

Back in 2002, me and my family were looking at dogs in our cities pounds. And as we went down the line, we seen this skinny, shaking black lab, no more than 2 years old, in a cage by himself. We looked at his paper telling his info and seen that he liked to chase small animals around, and we thought about taking him. I wanted him, but we also wanted to look at the other dogs. My mom said she would think about it, and we left. About a week or two later, my mom came home and told my brother she didn't get a dog. My brother was really upset (at the age of 10) and was making a fit, then he looked in the back of the car, and freaked out, happily. It was the black lab. I remember walking up to him and looking into his face. He had the brownest and most beautiful eyes I have ever seen, we instantly clicked. Why is this so important? Those eyes carry a dark secret.
Zeus, the lab, was beaten and abused as a puppy. His legs were broken on purpose by his owner, and I don't know what he did with a gun, but Zeus is really gun shy. It makes me mad to see such a beautiful creature be abused for now reason , I also found out that he was supposed to be put to sleep. Dogs don't deserve that.
So, what I'm asking is, Animal Cruelty, do that, I wrote one about my dog alone, but if a big celebrity like you were to get the word out, people might start stopping this disgusting act of animals. Thanks for your time.

ps- Zeus is now a healthy 85 lbs and our bond is as great as can be

I have written a song on how there are people out there that say the war is great and it will do something to help the US, but my song also talks about how these people might have no family member in the service and continue to say "Send them all in" and it discusses that they are making these choices by not thinking about the ones that DO have family in Iraq.
