So far so good Leah, only second week of my class so I will keep you posted. Right now we are looking at the role of cartoons in regards to children's perception of gender roles. Should be fun, least I get to watch a few hours of cartoons for the next four weeks as part of the assignment... lol

Good morning Dan and all the rest of the gather bunch. 2nd cup of coffee here as well and waiting for the work day to pass me by so I can go to class tonight. Yes, I think it should completely be left up to the patient given they are capable of making such a decision. A loved one should not be kept alive to suffer at the hands of someone that refuses to accept the inevitable. It's a tough call really, but if it were someone that cared about I would support their decision regardless of my personal feelings. We can never fully be aware of how much pain another person is suffering. A person knows when he/she is going to die.
