Roy,

Ansel Adams is one of my favorites. I've always liked B&W photography for a great many reasons.

But other than period reenactment photos I suck at it. I'm going to have to practice more - just as soon as LIFE slows down from Warp 5.

Sheryl.... I expect to see something from you in the next one! :)

Nice job, Heather. :) I like the blue, which seems to make the curves stand out even more. Most of these kinds of trash containers in my area are all black and boring.

In this one I see wood, seashell, ocean waves, age, time, this one almost even has smell-a-vision for me. I can almost smell the sawdust. I even like this one better than the other version. Nice job!

Great eye! I love the texture - I want to reach out and touch it, just run my fingertips lightly along the curves. Great job.

Nice curve, but I think the tree is a distraction. The tree is fighting for my attention, and the curve should be the emphasis of the photo.

I like the vibrant fall colors, and the surprise of the tiny curves of the beads(?) in the bottom. The blur in the upper corner would work well if the colors were darker, but the bright spots are a bit distracting. Try doing the same shot with a different background maybe?

Nice variety of curves, as Gayle said. I agree with both of them, though. The sharp angle of the crop on the right is a bit distracting.

We met in August, officially started dating in February, Married in June, and we've been together 24 1/2 years - and he is my best friend in the world.

Actually, as I was looking at his wounds, it reminds me of something else...

When I was a kid I had a pup named Oggie who got himself caught under a fence and had to fight and claw his way loose. He had some pretty bad abrasions and gouges from the fence wire when he finally got free....

Poor baby. I hope he heals quickly.
