6. I live in the Northwest. I enjoy camping, winter and summer. I have been involved in mountain climbing. I like pack horse camping and back packing to the extent that I have taken Boy Scouts on 50 mile hikes.

7. I like doing art, watercolor and oil, and especially sculpture, clay and bronze and lead, and Aluminum. But you did not mention these, so I guess I'm "other"...

8. My favorite day is when I accomplish something. Not much on clocks and calenders I never know the time or day.

What are you able to conclude from these answers?

1- I have a brother and a sister.

2. We have three sons.

3. I relate with my mother but not that well. She is ever critical of my art and life style. I have the feeling we do noy agree on much. She got along with my younger sister best. Then my sister died at only 30. Then she got along with my younger brother. She argued a lot with our Dad, and a lot with her older brother. As her oldest son, she sort of links me with Dad and her brother. She gets along well with my wife though. She does not get along so well with my brothers wife, and not at all well with her daughters widower husband. It all works out, I think.

4. My Dad's gone. We got along very well when I was younger, not so well when I was a teen, in fact he kicked my out at 19. Then when I was 35 we started getting along very well, until his death.

5. Yes, I go to church. This is probably the cause of friction with my mother, who goes to a different church. She is a rigid Bible reader, King James only. Suspicious she is, of all science and fiction and education in general. With a grad degree, she fears I have become somehow rather Satanic, as I read works other than only the King James Bible. You can't win. Some parents are disappointed when their kids don't finish college. Some parents are disappointed if their kids don't find manual labor and acquire all knowledge from only the King James Bible.

Hummm,,,

Lots of questions!

1 and 2. We have been married 46.8 years, with three sons. Two sons live close, one lives on the east coast. I guess it's our east coast son I really miss.

3. We visited him when he came here 1.5 years ago.

4. Probably when he was very young living at home. He was the creative one.

5. Probably the Christmas dinner. With presents. And a family base ball game.

I'm trying to get back to work on my art projects. Not that they are all that profitable. I seem to have more unfinished work than finished work. And there are miles of fence to fix on the ranch.

We had our honeymoon in the Olympics, so long ago. We went to the Olympic Hot springs. Then a few year later the Olympic Hot Springs was a nudist colony, then it burned down. Is there anything there now?

Nice to read your work.

I am interested in developing a vineyard for Ice wine. I tried this before, several years ago, but I did not take care of the vines and cows, deer and elk found them too tasty. Then the drought of the 1990s, when they had no water at all, really finished them.

In Idaho's Sawtooth's getting an early frost while the grapes are still on the vine is no problem. Getting the weather to remain above 40 degrees Fahrenheit so as not to knock the blossoms off can be a problem.

Are there any books out than can guide me in my quest?

What are your favorite viticulture books?

Interesting variation. Interesting dream. There is some old Greek Myth about a woman turning into a tree. And of course, there are the grouchy apple tree's in Oz.

Still, trees are alive, and live very long lives, so long that in old Europe they were thought to be very wise.

Today we admire trees because they are mostly made from the carbon they pulled out of the air. And they look nice.

I still think you ought to try 3D. Neverthe less, I like your style.

Nice stuff.

Have you ever considered working in clay, or bronze, or aluminum? I can picture you faces as 3d busts.

Of course, they look good as they are, and I have a thing for trying to get my stuff into 3d, so you don't need to take me that serious, it's me. Still I can picture them that way as looking good as well.

Well, I am at 61.33% of my life with the same woman. Lets face it. Not many women really want to spend their life with some moody artist, I speak from experience. Personally, I recommend, When you find one who will, try to keep her around....................

A little Ballerina! From the looks of that trophy, she will be doing "Giselle" on stage in a few years. Anyway I hope so. I always thought that ballet was perfect for an AA ballerina.
